The event is set to take place on Friday September 4th in aid of Rugby for Heroes, and will see celebrities and ex-players battle it out in an England vs Rest of the World match.
Rugby for Heroes uses the sport of rugby to raise awareness and funds to help support military personnel who are making the tough transition back from military to civilian life.
Rugby World Cup winner Mike Tindall MBE, patron of the charity, will lead the England team, with Shane Williams captaining the Rest of the World XV.
The celebs getting stuck in include Made in Chelsea’ Jamie Laing, JLS’ JB Gill and McBusted’s Harry Judd.
The event will be broadcast live on BT Sport, and will be accompanied by ‘behind the scenes’ shows set to air separately.
Rugby Aid Event Director Kenneth Shepherd said: “It’s great to have such a well-recognised brand on board. Their plans will really engage fans and we’re very much looking forward to working with them to drive further awareness for Rugby for Heroes and the Mentos brand with the aim to raise as much money as possible for military heroes.”
