Busy, Busy, Bounceback

Since Dial2Donate last covered Bounceback Food’s story just a few months ago, Bounceback’s unique initiative has gone from strength-to-strength. So, we think it’s about time that we had a look at what’s been happening.

A little reminder…

Bounceback was established in December 2014, starting life on Broughton Market. Those first days witnessed Bounceback reach their first milestone of 50 food donations just in time for Christmas. The idea behind this initiative is pretty simple. Working on a one-for-one model, Bounceback sells staple pasta, rice and tinned food, then for each item sold, a like-for-Bounceback Foodlike one is donated to the customers nearest food bank. Working in partnership with Fareshare and the Trussell Trust, Bounceback Food can distribute provisions to where they are needed most and help those in need to Bounceback.

5000 Meals

Since securing those initial donations, Bounceback’s social impact has extended across the UK and donations secured by the social enterprise have now contributed to over 5000 meals. Altrincham-based Dial2Donate is delighted that Bounceback reached their milestone at Altrincham Market – simply wonderful.

Congratulations guys, next goal 10,000!

Online Sales

Great news, Bounceback Food is to officially launch their online store on 4th December. That means if you don’t catch them during one of their market days, you can always catch them online.

With Christmas coming, this is a really easy way to pay once and give twice this year. Why not pop online to see a host of their wonderful gift hampers that give twice?
